Friday has arrived to bring the first presentation session for the extremely active and jovial group of workshop participants. The four groups introduced their "subjective problem maps" to each other. The outcome turned out to be so amazingly creative and impressive that even the organizing team was surprised. One of the groups performed an interactive play about aspects of problematic traffic situations, others integrated their observations into a funny board game, there was a video spot focusing on one of the main traffic problems of the city, while an other short film concentrated on a general solution strategy.

The presentations in the order of appearance:

Group 1:
The first group presented a table game which can be a great tool to make its users understand the problems of mobility in a big city like Budapest.
Group leader Jenna Viertola (Turku, Finland)

Group 2:
This presentation was the frame of an amazingly complex and funny performance which included Pacman and the evil car, impersolanized bikes and many more...

"One cyclist on the street is a crazy guy. Two cyclists are two crazy guys. Three cyclists are three crazy guys. Many cyclists are passengers of a new way of transport."
Group leader Alberto Castro Fernandez (Vienna, Austria)

Group 3:
The presentation dealt with a very specific yet frequently occurring problem of the pedestrians of Budapest.

"Alltäglichkeit // Revolution was not confined to economic transformations (relations of production) or political transformations (personnel and institutions), but could and must extend as far as EVERYDAY LIFE, as far as actual "disalienation" ..., creating a way of living, a style - in a word, a civilization....
Public transportation should be state-regulated and owned, free, comfortable and easily accessible for everyone, young, old, disabled or not... It shouldn't be a sort of dangerous incursion into the depths of underground cityspace, but a lively and appealing experience of movement in the city and a possibility for social interaction and LIFE....
Keep on trying to use public transportation.... and if possible get in it with your bike...."
Group leader Alberto Altés (Barcelona, Spain)

Group 4:
"What happens if a bunch of young people from Europe start working together on the problem of mobility in the city?
They start observing...what's around and they find what is wrong. They understand that to change a city climate they can start from small things...
....maybe from a white line?"
Group leader Susy Longoni (Milano, Italy)
